This 13th annual event will be held at the Encore Boston Harbor Hotel, built in 2019. The evening will bring together Gold Star Families, Veterans, corporate and civic leaders, and distinguished guests to raise awareness of the programs and services provided by Massachusetts Fallen Heroes. The 2023 awards to be presented include the: Captain Jennifer Harris Award, SFC Jared C. Monti “Medal of Honor Above and Beyond the Call of Duty’ Award, Navy SEAL Special Warfare Operator Chief Petty Officer Kevin A. Houston Award, Christine Devlin “Gold Star Family Support” Award, Army Green Beret Sergeant First Class Daniel H. Petithory Award, and Sergeant First Class Eric Emond “Wicked Awesome” Award.

Volunteers help kick off Patriot Week by building a sea of flags in honor of each of our Fallen Heroes. Those flags will remain standing through the Rededication Ceremony to commemorate Patriot Week.

Registered attendees will get to know the many local Veteran and Gold Star Family companies. Each business will have a booth to showcase their practice, speak about their products, and help cultivate future development and growth within the Boston Innovation Community. Each business will pitch their company in a rapid-fire, two-minute presentation where they will have the chance to address the public and give a compelling pitch for how we can help them continue to grow and thrive. Registered attendees will receive a handful of InnoVets bucks with which they can vote for their favorites. The most voted for business will leave with some well-earned seed funding for their business.

The 8th Annual Rededication of the MFH Memorial will host Gold Star Family members, elected officials, distinguished guests, and the general public in Boston’s Seaport District. Updated glass panels with the names of the most recent Fallen Heroes will be unveiled by Gold Star Family members.
